Southlake Carroll handled its Senior Night business Friday, beating Timber Creek 43–19 at Dragon Stadium. The Dragons are 7–2 overall and 6–0 in District 4-6A, which is a useful way to arrive at the last week of the regular season.
The 24-point win followed Carroll’s 38–10 victory over Byron Nelson. Timber Creek dropped to 3–6.
Carroll goes to Boswell on Thursday, Nov. 5, for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Timber Creek hosts Byron Nelson that same night.
The Dragons have handled six district opponents without a loss. Boswell is the next assignment. November has a habit of collecting from teams that start looking past the game on the calendar, so Carroll would be wise to keep its attention right there.
